Sleek, Affordable Platform Enables Printing from Mobile Devices Along with a Host of New Features and Configurations
Valhalla, N.Y., June 13, 2019 – As a leader in imaging innovation, FUJIFILM North America Corporation announces the launch of its new GetPix Quick photo kiosk, a platform designed specifically to allow retailers to offer photo printing from mobile devices without the need for cables or a dedicated app, enhancing consumers’ ease and speed of use. Building on the success of the previous iteration, GetPix Quick offers even more capabilities to make printing photos on-the-go easier than ever. In addition to the existing space-saving countertop and pedestal options, Fujifilm is excited to announce new hardware configurations, giving retailers of any size the opportunity to provide this handy printing service to their customers.
According to Keypoint Intelligence/Info Trends[1], over 1.2 trillion photos are taken every year, the majority of which with mobile devices. The GetPix Quick kiosk is an easy way for consumers to print images from their smartphones, allowing them to display and share special captured memories. Users simply upload their images to mygetpix.com and visit a GetPix Quick photo kiosk of their choosing. Once at the kiosk, they then enter the code received after uploading their images, and in no time they are ready to print their photos. Utilizing the FUJIFILM ASK-300 dye sublimation printer, the GetPix Quick platform offers quality photos in a matter of seconds.
GetPix Quick prints photos in a variety of sizes including 4” x 6”, 5” x 7”, and 6” x 8”. Payment with any major credit/debit card is now an option via Square®, and payment via Apple Pay and Google Pay are now available as well.
“As innovators in photo printing technology, we are excited to bring the new GetPix Quick kiosk platform to the market,” said Manny Almeida, President of the Imaging Division at FUJIFILM North America Corporation. “With its ability to offer extremely easy access to mobile images, GetPix Quick will continue to allow consumers to print and preserve their memories easier than ever before.”
